Architectural Guidelines Revision & New Maintenance Guidelines
The Board of Directors and the Architectural Control Committee (ARC) have been working together to clarify and expand the architectural guidelines and the new maintenance guidelines for Bay Pointe. The ARC works very hard to help homeowners’ desired improvements come about with minimum hassle while upholding the spirit and intent of the guidelines. These guidelines are designed to maintain and enhance the property values of Bay Pointe.
Your ARC meets the first Tuesday of every month with the alternate being the first Thursday. During these meetings, the ARC will review various applications for improvements from homeowners. Please remember to submit an application for any improvement as stated in Architectural Review Procedures, 1A.
Guidelines clarified, edited or added include the following: landscape edging, painting, birdhouses and birdfeeders, weather vanes, lawn ornamentation, planters-urns-flower boxes and hanging baskets, patio covers, sun rooms, lawn/patio furniture, solar screens-awnings and sun screens, burglar bars, and, finally, satellite dishes. The maintenance guidelines were also adopted to help preserve the integrity of Bay Pointe.
Your Bay Pointe Community Association has published the attached revised Architectural and new Maintenance Guidelines. PLEASE BE SURE TO REPLACE YOUR OUTDATED ARCHITECTURAL GUIDELINES as well as the NEW MAINTANENCE GUIDELINES IN SECTION 6D, "ARCHITECTURAL GUIDELINES", OF YOUR GREY HOMEBUYER INFORMATION NOTEBOOK. The Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (DCC+R’s) remains unchanged as required by the articles.
Please take the time to review the original DCC+R’s and the revised Guidelines. By understanding the guidelines and following the application procedures, your whole home improvement process will proceed quickly and with the lowest cost and trouble for everyone. Thank you for your time and cooperation.
Sincerely,
Dan Mendoza, President
Bay Pointe Community Association
